Meet Marissa.

I am a wife & mother.

I am Mommy to four adorable children:
Little Dudeman, Little Princess, Little Sunshine, & Little Snowflake.

I am a wife to the bestest Hubby ever.
We met online because of an energy drink.
Who'da thunk?

I am a daughter, sister, grand-daughter, niece, cousin, aunt, & even a great grand-daughter.
I am lucky to say that I have the most amazing parents, siblings, in-laws, & extended family ever.
They are supportive, loving, & so much FUN to be around!
I'm always excited to see my family,
no matter how distant they may be in relationship or location.
They
are
AWESOME!

I am a world renowned traveler.
Totally kidding there.
My uncle is though. He's been everywhere. Even Antarctica.

So far I've lived in Utah, Wisconsin, Arizona, Idaho, California, & Indiana.
I've visited Canada & Mexico, as well as a number of states within the Continental US.
I would love to go to Hawaii, Bora Bora, & Antarctica, among many other places someday.

I am a friend.
Throughout the various moves in my life I have made a plethora of friends.
Some that I am uber close to & can't imagine life without.
Some that used to be close, but we went our separate ways.
Some that have lost contact.
Some that are just acquaintances, really.
All are friends.
Although I don't think of each & every one of them every single day,
I care about them & am here for them when they need someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on.
I am a wonderful listener.

I am a daughter of God.
Religion is a huge part of my life.
Honestly, I wouldn't be where I am today without it.
I love our Savior, Jesus Christ, with all my heart.
I would be lost without the atonement.
I am not perfect.
I make mistakes.
But I try to be more Christlike each day.
Because who wouldn't want to be more selfless,
more loving,
more kind,
more compassionate,
more patient,
more understanding?
Who wouldn't want to be a better friend,
a better listener,
a better person?
If we all tried a little harder to have these divine qualities,
I think the world would be a much happier place.

I am a blogger.
I started this blog for quite a few reasons.
I wanted to be able to earn a little extra money from home.
I wanted to update family & friends on our life.
I wanted to get back into journaling.
I wanted to make new friends.
I wanted to share my favorite recipes.
I wanted the motivation to organize my life better.
